The Rocky Horror Picture Show returns to Purchase College.
This entirely student-run musical production promises a night of melodramatic musical mayhem. A six-piece live band and a cast of characters including Frank-N-Furter, Magenta, Riff Raff, and Columbia will lead the audience in the “Time Warp” dance.
“Sequined platforms, feather boas and eye shadow a must,” according to the college.
Here’s a description of the cult classic: “An assemblage of stereotyped science fiction movies, Marvel comics, and rock and roll of every vintage running through the story of an unsuspecting average couple caught up in a world of science fiction, fantasy and the complications of the decadent 70’s.”
When and where: Oct. 30 and 31 in The Performing Arts Center at 8 PM.
Price: Tickets are $12 and $10 for students.
