From Purchase College…

The Youth Summer Programs at Purchase College will offer free Friday afternoon events this summer.

Plays, concerts and exhibits will showcase the accomplishments of the young actors, dancers, artists, and musicians participating in the programs. The events will take place in various buildings on campus.   For information call 914-251-6506.

The summer programs are offered by the Purchase College School of Liberal Studies and Continuing Education located at 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, N.Y.

Programs run as two-week and four week sessions sessions, and include classes for young writers, filmmakers, and photographers. The Young Bards group work with professionals to learn about Shakespeare’s plays and participate in performances, and the Youth Theatre has students learn scenes from favorite musicals and also participate in performances.
