Newspapers alive and well in Dobbs Ferry

Students at Dobbs Ferry Middle School just completed a newspaper project in which each student went out to report and write an original article for publication.

All told, five newspapers were printed, each of which contained some truly fantastic work.
I was among the journalists yesterday who presented awards in an array of categories —including interviewing techniques, sports, op-ed, feature writing, writer’s voice, and best news article. I congratulate each and every young writer, and thank them for inviting me to be part of the celebration.
