Peggy Zugibe elected to NYSSBA board

Peggy Zugibe, president of the North Rockland Board of Education, was elected to the board of directors of the New York State School Boards Association effective Jan. 1.
Zugibe has been a member of the North Rockland school board since 1993 and she currently sits on the board of Rockland BOCES. She is a former president of the Rockland County Schools Boards Association and of the North Rockland Rotary Club. She is a board member of the United Way of Rockland County and the Mid-Hudson School Study Council and the Lower Hudson Education Coalition.

The Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association congratulates Ms. Zugibe on her election to the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) board. As the Area 10 Director to NYSSBA, Peggy Zugibe will represent Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties at the state level. Peggy Zugibe has long been an advocate for education and children in our area, and understands our regional issues. She will represent this area well in ALbany.
