Winners of RCC Entrepreneurial Business Plan Competition

Three student teams from Rockland Community College and eight teams from local high schools competed this month in a business plan competition at RCC. Here are the winners:
North Rockland High School: Sitter in a Second
Students Nicole Esposito, Monica Callan, and Joseph Pane won $1,000 for their proposed business, Sitter in a Second, an online database of reliable, certified babysitters. Faculty advisers were Debra Jacoby and Tim Ahle.

RCC Students: You Name It, We Got It: Name Your Sport!
Students Devon Beuschel of Airmont and Jonathan Coe of Pomona won $1,000 for their proposed business, You Name It, We Got It: Name Your Sport!, an all inclusive sports warehouse dedicated to athletes of all sports levels. Their faculty adviser was Mr. Thomas Morley, Director, Small Business Development Center.
