Cyberbullying program at Edgemont

December
1

Eighth-grade students at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School in Scarsdale last week participated in a program on “cyberbullying” as part of Cablevison’s Power to Learn educational initiative.

Using the latest technology, students taught a lesson on this topic and discussed how it related to their lives.  At the conclusion of the program, each student was presented with an Internet Smarts certificate by elected officials attending the event.

Cablevision’s Internet Smarts program provides a forum for teachers and parents to work with children regarding appropriate and safe Internet use at school and at home.
