Election watch, school version, A. MacArthur Barr Middle
-
- October
- 31
In an effort to do something a little different and use the school’s technology ability, the 750 students at Nanuet’s A. MacArthur Barr Middle School are voting on-line with a form designed by one of the social studies teachers.
So far, about 300 of the students have logged onto the site, filled in their homeroom teacher’s name, their gender, their grade, their choice for president (Obama or McCain, no third-party candidates), the reason why they voted for their choice and what they thought the biggest election issue was.
Voting will close at midnight Sunday, and the results will be available Monday morning.
