Nyack College e-recycling

Nyack College will be holding an electronic recycling day, open to the public, on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Accepted items will include mother boards and computer components, AC adapters, answering machines, caller ID boxes, cell phones, car phones, telephones, hard drives, CD burners, DVDs, VCRs, floppy drives, pagers, electronic game systems, projectors, camera, blenders, can openers, coffee makers, fans, household lamps, microwaves, toasters, surge protectors and typewriters.

All items except TVs (which will cost $10 to recycle) will be taken free of charge.

The drop-off site will be behind the archway at Moseley Hall near the soccer field.

The college, at 1 South Boulevard in Nyack, partnered up with eLot Recycling of Troy to host the recycling day . For more information, contact the company at 518-266-9385.
