West Point held a grand opening ceremony today for its new $62 million, 150,000-square-foot, six-story library. But, enough about the numbers, here are a couple photos I took of the library last week. It’s a real beaut, but unfortunately not open to the general public.





A statue of Jefferson, for whom the library is named after, in the rotunda on the first floor:

That million-dollar view from the terrace on the sixth floor:

And last, a little juxtaposition of the old library and new library:. The old library, on the left, will be converted to space for the science department:
