Bedford teacher selected for 2008 Yale Teaching Award

The Bedford Central School District is proud to announce that Mr. Bill Broggy, social studies teacher at Fox Lane High School, has been selected as a recipient of the 2008 Yale Teaching Award.
This award, sponsored by the Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions, recognizes teachers from around the world who have inspired and supported their students to achieve at high levels.
Students entering the Yale Class of 2012 were asked to nominate outstanding educators who have made a difference in their lives. Mr. Broggy was nominated by Michael Knowles for the teaching award and then selected as a winner by a committee in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
