Keeping an eye on education

$152K grant goes to Hendrick Hudson

From the school district…

    The Entergy Corporation will present a check for $152,000 for the support of math and literacy programs to the Hendrick Hudson Board of Education during its regularly scheduled meeting, Wednesday, September 10, 7:30 p.m. at Hendrick Hudson High School, 2166 Albany Post Road. Montrose, NY 10548.
With help from a grant, Hen Hud students in grades K through 5 will be working with state-of-the-art materials in both English Language Arts and mathematics in the new school year.
A symbolic oversized check will be presented to the Board by Dan Gagnon, Security Manager at the Indian Point Energy Center. Gagnon is a 1983 graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School.
