Families interested in environmental-based decisions in the back-to-school aisle or who want a nice begin-the-school gift for an eco-interested teacher can check out “Eco-Friendly Families,” a book out this month by Alpha Books.
Author Helen Coronato talks about ways to use objects around the home for back-to-school instead of buying new. She also shows parents how they can train their children to be environmentally aware.
The book is listed as $15.
