Hope Goes Back to the Eighties!

July
25

The upcoming Hope Players revue will throw you back to the 1980s — for better or worse.

There’s spandex and leg warmers. There’s a Double Dare physical challenge. And, of course, there’s loads of hair spray.

But the “Hope Goes Back to the Eighties” production at Kennedy Catholic High School isn’t just about nostalgic laughs.

The theater troupe is out to raise money and awareness for breast cancer, with all proceeds going to support the cause.

“Hope Goes Back to the Eighties” runs 8 p.m. July 25-26 and Aug. 1-2 and 3 p.m. July 27 at Kennedy Catholic High School, 54 Route 138, Somers. For tickets, call 914-206-9617 or e-mail tickets@thehopeplayers.com. Visit www.thehopeplayers.com for more information.

Here’s a photo slide show from rehearsals this week. Enjoy!
