Mercy College offers immediate decision week

Mercy College is holding an Immediate Decision Week enrollment program next week at all five of its campuses.
The idea is that you get to skip the entire long, drawn-out, oft-stressful college application process.
You bring your high school or college transcripts and fill out an application; if all admission criteria are met, you’re granted admission on the spot and you decide whether you want to attend. It’s even open to folks who are behind the eight ball and want to start attending college this fall.
If you’re accepted and decide to go, your college application process is over! (Talk about lifting the stress for your senior year…)
The program will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 28 through Aug. 1 at Mercy’s five campuses:
Dobbs Ferry Campus
555 Broadway
Bronx Campus
1200 Waters Place
Manhattan Campus
66 West 35th Street (Herald Square)
White Plains Campus
277 Martine Ave.
Yorktown Campus
2651 Strang Blvd.
Don’t want to leave the beach or the mall? Mercy will even come to you — the college has “roving vans and admission counselors” who “will be visiting area malls, beaches and various other sites.”
Here’s what you need: a photo ID, copy of your high school or college transcript (depending if your an incoming freshman or a transfer student). Take that to the Admissions Offices, where counselors will help you fill out applications and handle other issues. If you have your transcripts in hand, you can get an immediate decision. If you don’t have the transcript with you, the college will give you a decision within 24 hours of receiving the transcript.
Not that there’s anything you need to know that’s not included in this post, but just in case: For more information, visit the website at www.mercy.edu or call 877-MERCY-GO.
