RCC holds not one, but two new-student orientation sessions

July
19

Rockland Community College usually holds one new-student orientation session for Fall students, but the school is expecting more students than ever to participate and so is offering two this year.

Students (and their families) can take campus tours, learn about academics and extra-curriculars, check out the bookstore and even get some refreshments. They can meet administrators, faculty, staff and representatives of student clubs and organizations.

The new students also will get their official RCC IDs, activate their e-mail accounts and can purchase books for their classes.

The details:

What: 2008 New Student Orientation Program
When: 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26
Where: Cultural Arts Theater
More Info: Call New Student Orientation Committee co-chairs Debra Balestra or Kathy Carroll at (845) 574 4394.
