Ever thought about hosting a foreign exchange student? Well, there are international students coming to study in Westchester County this school year and this could be your chance.
There’s students like Napat, a 16-year-old boy from Thailand who enjoys basketball, swimming, rugby and badminton. He says he would love to cook Thai food for his host family.
And then there’s Thea, a 16-year-old girl from Germany. She loves competing in tennis tournaments and has played piano since she was six. She also sings in two choirs. She says she is attracted to the vastness of America and its geographical and cultural diversity.
STS Foundation, a non-profit student exchange organization, is available to help facilitate these relationships. They have been doing so for the past 20 years and look forward to finding new host families in Westchester and connecting them with exchange students.
The host family provides a separate bed, family meals and a safe environment. If your family is interested in being a host family please call Lillian at 1-800-522-4678 or send an email to lillian@stsfoundation.org. For more information visit www.stsfoundation.org.
