Keeping an eye on education

To the top, laptops in hand

June
25

Earlier this spring, The Journal News featured a story about a Rye Brook student, Alex Dreschler, and his father, Robert, who founded a charity to give laptops to deserving high school graduates as they headed to college. Called “To the Top with Laptops,” it originated in Port Chester and spread this year to Yonkers and New Rochelle.

When we wrote the story, this year’s laptops and printer/scanner/copier combos had not been handed out. But Alex’s mom recently sent us pictures of the winners from the three recent ceremonies. Enjoy!
