A number of Ardsley Middle School parents say they will keep their children home from school until the administration removes a student who allegedly has made a number of serious threats, Diana Costello reports.
Here’s more from her:
“Tomorrow may be the day the kid decides to snap,†said Dana Price, 37, a mother of two students at the school. “If it is, I don’t want my kids in the crossfire. I don’t want to see my kids on the news.â€
Greenburgh Police Lt. Chris McNerney said a parent filed a complaint with the police department about the most recent alleged threat by the student, and the matter is under investigation.
Police met with parents today.
“We’ve met with parents and there’s obviously concerns†McNerney said. “He’s made a lot of individual threats to a lot of different people, a lot of different kids. It’s not the first time I heard his name.â€
He would not identify the student involved.
The superintendent and principal could not immediately be reached for comment.

rumor is that kid is “protected” and administrators are afraid to act
What do you mean by “protected”—Father in mafia? Police? Politician? Racial group “protected??
This child should be removed from the district and recieve the help and assistance needed.
This child is unstable and should be placed an environment that suits their needs.
