RCC electrical technology students show off final projects

May

RAMAPO — A group of 15 students in Rockland Community College’s circuit analysis and AC theory classes developed simple electronical circuits they presented publicly on May 19.

The final projects were a first for these classes and were an opportunity for future engineers to work as a team to design and develop the circuits. The students developed a product, wrote specifications, created prototypes, tested and launched the final product.

“They spent more than three months doing the circuits,” said adjunct faculty member Bethzabeth Berrios, in the electric and computer technology department. “They did beautifully.”

For more information, contact Berrios at (845) 574-4249 or bberrios@sunyrockland.edu. For more information about RCC, visit www.sunyrockland.edu
