Montrose student tops class at Quinnipiac

Montrose resident Lauren Sboto received the Alumni Association Academic Achievement Award for having the highest grade point average among graduating seniors in Quinnipiac University’s School of Communications.

Sboto graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in public relations at Quinnipiac’s undergraduate commencement May 18, 2008.

Sboto is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the honor society of the National Communication Association. She studied in Seville, Spain, for the spring semester of her junior year, tutored in Quinnipiac’s Learning Center and was a member of Quinnipiac University Singers. She is the daughter of Robert and Robin Sboto.
