Today’s school closings and cancelations

Several school districts have begun conducting early dismissals or canceling activities due to the inclement weather forecast, with snow and freezing rain predicted this afternoon and evening.

Putnam districts that are dismissing students early today include:

– Mahopac Central School District (polls for the building project vote remain open until 9 p.m.)

After-school activities canceled:

– Bedford Central School District – Brewster Central School District – Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District – Carmel Central School District – Chappaqua School District – Dobbs Ferry School District – Garrison Union Free School District – Hastings school district – Hendrick Hudson School District – John F. Kennedy Catholic High School – Katonah-Lewisboro School District – Lakeland Central School District – Mount Pleasant Central School District – North Salem Central School District – Ossining Union Free School District – Peekskill City School District – Pleasantville School District – Yonkers City School District – Yorktown Central School District
