happy-valentines-and-birth-day.jpgCROTON — Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School first-graders in Judy Kamlet’s and Patricia Lynch’s classes traveled to Skyview nursing home in Croton on February 11 to “share the love” with residents.

Students make the trip annually on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. This year, they sang such songs as “What a Wonderful World, and “What the World Needs Now Is Love.

After their performance, they mingled with the residents and distributed red carnations.

This year, the students also sang “Happy Birthday to Henry Fulle, who turned 90 years old on the day of their visit.
