It’s really sad that the judge didn’t end this farce last week so that those wrongly accused could enjoy a peaceful holiday season with their families & friends. They truly deserve for this to end NOW.

  2. lloyd

It’s nice to see that someone is still interested in this very important issue. I too hope they can have a happy holiday season!

What would have been a nice present for everyone, would to see the falsely accused have all dismissed. And even better, for the accusers to get their due. I still can’t believe that adults, because of trying to get back at co-workers, never cared about hurting the children. Now that’s sad.

  4. Shana

Yes, I agree with the 3 of you. This should’ve never happened in the first place. MCSD needs to investigate their potential employees more closely. It was all a game to the “adults” trying to get back at co-workers. How childish & immature without regard for the little children. Sad? It’s also VERY sick! To the falsely accused, hang in there. Many of us are behind you 1000%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anything come from yesterday’s court date?

  6. aba ann

you people should wake up and smell the coffee, these people did make fun at these poor children, put them in bathrooms to scream and cry….I saw it first hand and will be happy to testisify in a court of law under oath…I have kept my mouth shut long enough….I hope they get punished for what they did…they deserve it

  7. Shana

Took way longer than I expected for one of the immature accusers to show up again. Here’s hoping for the best in 2008 for the innocent & that the backstabbers get what’s coming to them.

aba ann: did you also see the many trysts going on & the “other” aides taking smoking breaks when they were supposed to be watching the children?????????????????

  8. Jillian

Aba Ann, So, IF YOU “SAW: all this supposedly happening, WHY didn’t YOU report it? What a joke you are!

  9. Nick

So let’s see…...you WITNESSED all of this happening and yet you did absolutely NOTHING about it?But you will testify under oath?Funny don’t remember seeing you post here before.Guess you couldn’t remember any of the names you previouly used on this blog.Gee, with witnesses like you around, why hasn’t the trial gone forward?I wonder…...

Hope the New Year is a happy one for those that have had to deal with an unhappy and undeserving end to 2007!

There are never any stories or updates in reference to this story from last April. Has it been forgotten or dropped, from what I have read it seemed like an important issue, hopefully since things are not being posted it was resolved for the best of the children. Thank you

As far as I know – they were to go to court this past week, but it has been postponed again until the end of February I believe. Don’t know if the judge feels there is not enough evidence to go to trial or if one side or the other needed more time – not sure, but it isn’t over yet.

  13. jjm

    thank you for your reply.

  14. Jillian

I think there may be a conflict since the new DA had worked with one of the defense lawyers in this case. They may need to bring in a special prosecutor; hence the postponement. Cannot see this coming to an end any time soon with all the lawsuits pending. It’s a shame to have these cases drag on for so long, especially when people are innocent!

  15. jjm

Thank you Jillian for updating the blog. It’s very hard to believe that an important story like this isn’t updated after court dates.

  16. Shana

Yes, people were all over this story when it first broke. I always look for updates & nothing is available. I’m sure a lot of people no longer care but I feel for the wrongly accused. Want them to know that they are NOT forgotten!

  17. Diana Costello

Let me assure you this story has not been forgotten. It’s just that it became impractical to attend every court appearance when there was nothing new to report. As of last week, there were still motions pending before the court. In addition, there is an issue of whether the new Putnam County District Attorney will recuse himself from the case because his former firm represents one of the co-defendants. There is a status conference scheduled for February 26, according to an associate with the firm representing Tammy Card. Until then…

  18. Shana

    Thank you, Diana

  19. jjm

    I also thank you Diana.
