Talking personnel in Mamaroneck

The Mamaroneck Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 8 a.m. tomorrow to “act on a personnel agenda.”
It will be held in the superintendent’s conference room at Mamaroneck High School.
We’ll drop by. Wonder if the action to be acted upon has to do with the two guidance counselors who were removed from their jobs and placed on administrative duties recently – a situation my colleague Ken Valenti wrote about in today’s edition.

What happened?
Whatever the meeting was about, the Journal News needs to pursue the story picked up by the Larchmont Gazette, which is the possibility (I would say certainty, but I’m not a journalist) that the “administrative reassignment” was in retaliation for the grievance that Denhoff and Hirose filed last month. In which case Fried and Weitzman have a lot of explaining to do, if they want to keep their jobs.
