Marcus Fitz, a 6-year-old Pound Ridge boy, helped arrange a team of 180 people to participate in last month’s walk-a-thon for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His team raised over $20,000 for the local chapter. The wish was to go to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.
The second-annual Make-a-Wish walk-a-thon raised a total of $107,000, compared to $72,000 last year.
